The story behind

Renata and Dominik, the founders of Chestergate Bistro, after running the business for 13 years decided to sell it in June 2022. After approximately a year of living an ordinary life, Dominik was approached by Konrad, a former customer of Chestergate Bistro who had always admired Dominik’s creations. Konrad now wanted to fulfill his dream of becoming a restaurateur. Simultaneously, the premises at 17a Chastergate became available after being vacated by Betfred… and that’s how it all began. It has been delightful to see so many familiar faces already. Lunchtime, in particular, feels like a journey through time. So here we are, starting from scratch again, and we hope you will enjoy it here. We certainly do.
